The first drawing I did after starting the Traveler novel. I originally thought the novel was going to be a novelette. So I created this drawing in case I got it published in a sci fi magazine like ISSAC ASIMOV. Note: The character of Robyn Bergan (the punk girl) was at an early stage. Later as you'll notice I cropped her hair into a more boyish cut. Also I changed her facial features to look more jewish.ext
Here is my second cover drawing idea. I was still thinking of a sci fi magazine drawing. Robyn character is more or less developed. Note: this is the first and only cover drawing to include the villain, Warliam Nathbak. This is an early conception and is strongly influenced by the actor who played the part in my short movie that the story is based upon.Text
This third attempt is more focused on the story as a book. It also has a much more sci fi look to it. Note: The version of the Traveler's ship The Phoenix depicted here was a very early conception. In later drawings it will start to evolve into more of an RV look, which was really the look I was going for.Text
